What is voice cloning?

Clone your voice once during onboarding, and Dubchat speaks your translations in your own voice, so you sound like yourself in the other language. Prefer not to? Pick one of the natural premade voices instead.

Yes. Dubchat is built for how people actually talk, slang and informal speech included, with Urban Dictionary inside. It translates what people mean, not just what they say.

The mic isn't picking up speech. What should I check?

Accepted Answer

First, make sure Dubchat has microphone access in your phone's Settings. Then hold the phone at a normal distance between you, in very loud places, getting a bit closer helps. Still stuck? Message us on WhatsApp and we'll sort it out.
